Morning Dive Trips

Honu Sports offers dive trips beyond the ordinary in kona.

After exploring the rich coral reef, a couple of divers begin exploration of a short lava tube.

We offer morning boat dive trips on a daily basis, 365 days a year. We typically meet at 8:00am right at our boat, the Honu Adventure. We take a maximum of 6 divers on our boat to ensure your comfort and enjoyment of the day's activities. We return to the harbor between 12:30 - 1:00pm. During this time we dive at two different locations. All dives are led by an experienced dive master or instructor.

We only go to the best dive sites in Kona. Some of the sites are well known, but others are "secret" sites that only we know about. We always tailor our dive trips to what our guests would like to see and do.

Each dive trip includes bottled water and choice of wraps.

Reservations are required for daily boat trips. Please call 808-327-Dive (3483) to make reservations or for more information.

Price: $130 for tanks and weights. Add $30 for gear rental. Gear includes mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, weight integrated BC, and regulator set.

Directions to our boat for confirmed passengers only.

Drive to the Honokohau Marina and small boat harbor. The Honokohau Marina is located approximately 4.5 miles south of the Kona International airport OR about 2.5 miles north of Kailua-Kona. You should see a sign like the one below.

Next, turn into the marina from the highway and you will travel a few hundred yards. Next, YOU MUST MAKE THE FIRST RIGHT TURN POSSIBLE. After making the FIRST RIGHT TURN, you will continue driving past a couple of small parking lots on the left and parked boats behind a fence on your right. The road will veer to the left and open up to a very large parking lot. On the other side of this parking lot is a public restroom located between two boat ramps. Park next to the public restrooms and we will meet you there. If you get lost, or are running late, please call 808.327-DIVE(3483) as this number will ring directly at the boat.
